Onyeakpo Chinedu you did not tell us what make and model your mixer is. If it is a Kenwood Chef then there is no oil in the gearbox. It uses grease in the gearbox. Yes, you can replace that and since it is a sealed box you do not need to use food grade grease but can go to regular white lithium grease or even more expensive Moly grease.
