Philips 32PFS6402/12 black screen but audio works!
I own a 4 year old Philips 32PFS6402/12 where I suddenly don't see any image (black screen). I went back to the store and asked if it was still under warranty. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Since I am a little bit handy, I want to try to fix the television.
I searched up on the internet i.e Google and Youtube. I found the service manual (Chassis QM17.4E LA) and some handy Youtube on how to diagnose. So, I diagnosed the following:
-My television STANDBY light goes on.
-Philips Ambilights (lights to the side) goes ON when turning television on.
-I do hear audio coming out of the television.
-I did the "flashlight test", when I shined through the panel, I saw my menu such as "source" or "television channels".
-NO BACKLIGHT. I opened up the back of my television, plugged the power cable in the wall, I did not see any lights shining on the back of my television.
Does anyone know which television part is morelikely faulty and should be replaced to get it working?
Thanks in advance!
Removed the back cover of Philips 32PFS6402/12 TV.
Multimeter - Voltage DC settings
18.8 volts on VLEDS+ #1 and #2 on CN8602 CONN.
UPDATE 6/23/21 PART2
Next diagnosis visualized: CONN 8601 #1 with RED probe and U8601 #1 with BLACK probe (question mark).
There is NO C8601, there is only a C8602 (C8602 is a shorten version of C8601 shorten version see picture) and I cannot identify U8601 on the powerboard.

Replaced the backlights of the TV…
Hooray it works! … wait a sec… I think f* up LOL.
Red circles indicates the ribbons that were opened up and green ones arent touched.
