I have replaced my old battery with the new one from IFIXIT in my MacBook Pro early 2011. The computer turns of when it is unplugged from the adapter. I’ve only used it a handful of times since replacing the battery and it worked fine until the other day.
I tried SMC reset and NVRAM reset but that has not fixed it. I downloaded CoconutBattery and it says the battery is 100% charged.

If you still have around your old battery you may try to reinstall it to get a confirmation, but a new battery shouldn’t show a “poor” condition as yours does after just 8 charging cycles. It’s probably a faulty battery, I’d recommend to contact the customer service enclosing that screenshot and ask for a replacement.
