Have a small white dot and dark grey screen. Audio but no picture!
Have a Samsung 3D TV. When turning on, can hear audio and see a small white dot near bottom left edge of screen,. rest of screen is dark grey in colour. Is it worth repairing?

@canada3000 “Is it worth repairing? “ only you can answer that. You know your capabilities as well as your econominc situation. I would suggest you try and see what it ends up costing you etc. As for the grey screen and white dot. We would need to see this. Post some good images of what your screen shows with your QUESTION. 在已经存在的问题里加入图片 From what it sound like you are looking at the backlight turning on and one of your LED’s may have a lost diffuser cap. If so, and since you do have audio, my first prime suspect would be a bad T-Con board or a bad main board. We will have to know the model and possibly see your boards. Once you remove the back cover we possibly have more information for you.

What is the model number of the TV?
Can you view the menu screens OK?
Does the screen "light up" when the TV is turned on?
If not try shining a torch at an angle close to the TV when the TV is turned on and check if you can detect an image at all. It will be very faint so try in a darkened room if possible to aid detection of image if it is there.
