Phone Won't Charge after Battery Replacement

So I went ahead and replaced both my screen and my battery for my Iphone 6s. Screen works fine with no issues, however, I have not been so fortunate with the battery. The battery refuses to charge, as well as the phone randomly power cycling. This occurs both on and off the charger for no apparent reason. I don’t have the old battery. I have made sure that the ribbon connector for the new battery has insulation between itself and the protective piece that goes on it. Could this be a Battery that does not output the required voltage?

Yes I would try another battery. Here is a list of things that can cause these symptoms.

· Bad battery.

· Battery not connected properly.

· Faulty charging circuit on logic board.

· Dock connector

The phone is power cycling because it doesn’t know the state of the battery.

These alerts can appear for a few reasons: Your iOS device might have a dirty or damaged charging port, your charging accessory is defective, damaged, or non-Apple-certified, or your USB charger isn't designed to charge devices. ... Restart your iOS device. Try a different USB cable or charger. If this doesn’t help try to connect the service center from where you have replaced your battery.

if the battery at 0 voltage ( deactivated) it will not charge. you can force charge the battery to reactive it. check this video https://youtu.be/4NVxVM6FPR4 to learn more
