How to change radiator

If you’re mechanically inclined and have the tools and facilities, etc., all you need is patience and the step by step instructions to take on and accomplish this replacement. While it’s not rocket science, it is a bit involved, and you do have to get it right. Be aware, the transmission oil lines require a special tool (or alternative) for disconnection of the quick connect lines at the radiator. Although this is for the 2006 CTS (not DTS) series, I did find one very informative and complete step by step video that might be most helpful for you -

I’d suggest watching the video first to gauge if this is something you can hope to do on your own, or if you need to consider alternatives. Otherwise, this video should be sufficient to prepare and guide you throughout the replacement (with some degree of variation expected).
