TV screen won't turn on.

Hi folks. My Panasonic Plasma TV TH-P42U30Q has stopped working. Tried switching off and on using the button on the TV. The green light flashes a couple of times, and then switches off again. I then tried switching it on while simultaneously holding in the channel up and down buttons on the TV. Now the green light is on but it's still not working. Non responsive to remote and also to physically changing channels on the TV controls. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The flashing is an error code. Power supply isn't starting.

you want to go ahead systematically here. Remove the power cord from your TV and take the back off. Then take a look at your boards. For now focus on the Power board and the Main board (P-board and A-board respectively). Get a multimeter and check the P-board outputs (values marked on the board). Take some good pictures of your boards and post those with your question so that we can see what you see. Use this guide 在已经存在的问题里加入图片
