I broke of a component on the motherboard but MacBook still works
i broke of MMBT3904LP-7 DFN1006-3 but i dont know what the component does, the macbok does still work
That’s a diode on the line that seems to be carrying thermal info from CPU to SMC. Although the Mac may boot without it, it would be a very good idea to replace it and avoid running the machine without it to avoid possible more serious damage.

@arbaman I thought the MMBT3904LP-7 was made by Diodes International but was actually a 40V NPN SMALL SIGNAL TRANSISTOR in a SFN1006 case.... :-)
This is the input to the CPU from SMC to push it into Safe mode which lowers the CPU's clocking so the system does not overheat when SMC encounters a thermal or voltage failure.

Wel for the time being, I will use Mac fan control app to prevent overheating with a custom fan curve until I have the time to repair it
