Dishwasher--replaced control panel --still no-go :(
Hi, My Whirlpool stopped working a couple years ago—a friend recently suggested it might be the control panel—ordered and replaced it. After replacing—heard a noise (trying to drain)—then green “start” light came on—then nothing.
I tried the restart procedure (pressing buttons sequentially, with door unlatched—ng). Tried a fix suggested on forum (aligning door by pushing in and down—again, no good).
(I’ve also checked circuit breaker—no problem)
Any ideas? Thanks so much!!

When you say it stopped working, can you be more specific?

When I pushed "start"--nothing happened--I'm afraid I don't remember any more than that. I kept thinking I'd get someone to look at it--or buy a new one--but here it sat for 2 years.
