4527 model, won't print black ink
Prints colour fine and says the black cartridge is full, all black text comes out blank.

This Could be an issue because of the bad cartridge. Did you try to Remove and Reinstall the Cartridge? Try to remove the Cartridge and clean it up and try to re-install it properly .
