Driver side tail light does not work, but the brake light works.
It’s the same bulb for both tail light and brake light. Driver side tail light does not work, but passenger side works. Brake light (same bulb) works for both sides.

1st replace the bulb. Then check the wiring going to the lamp. Use a voltage tester (or a test light)and touch the bulb contacts on the inside of your lampp with the light turned on. If you have power, you are most likely having an issue with the bulb or the connector. If you do not have power, then trace it back with a voltage tester.

Even though the brake light works it doesn’t mean the bulbs not blow as there are two filaments in the bulb . Replace the bulb .If this doesnt remedy the problem then break out the test light and check the wiring
