I have a Sony XBR-55X930D TV not turning on. I took it to technician and he said it's a power supply issue and this particular model does not have power board. It takes 24V adapter. Sony is not willing to fix it because it is a refurbished model. Any solution?

m.afzal209 the board where your power supply plugs into is still considered a power supply. Going by your brief description it is absolutely possible that this is the board that has failed. Get a multimeter and measure the voltages on your board.

Is there suppose to be other voltages besides 24V coming from the LED driver board to the DPS board?
@Daniel Aguirre did you check the 3.3V on standby as pointed out?
I had this problem … and I got it fixed back in 2021 under some Sony Warranty - they replaced the power supply in the unit. I watched the technician do it. It worked great until yesterday 5/5/2024. 😔
I am now trying to figure out how to get it fixed again. I really enjoy the 3D movies I have … that is why I want to get it fixed.

I do a bit better, I get the Sony Logo for about 10 seconds, then it goes to an loop with what i assume is start up music...Ideas???
