How do I replace the screen to my pantech ease?

1: Turn off phone

2: Remove battery & SIM card

3: Pop off the dimpled cover that surrounds the camera lens

4: Remove 6 screws around the edge of the black phone back

5: Unscrew the one additional screw in the center of the black cover

6: Remove the black phone back cover

7: Note where the volume & camera buttons are & how they are installed before proceeding

8: Lift up the loose side of the phone circuit board (the other side is connected by 2 ribbon cables

Note:Be carefull not to break the small ribbon cable next to the buttons

9: Unplug the larger ribbon cable from the circuit board

10: Lay the phone out like an open clam shell

11: Remove the 8 silver screws that connect the keyboard to the screen

12: Now that the screen is separated from the phone remove 6 screen screws (3 of the screws are covered by stickers)

13: Carefully push/pry to separate the screen back from the glass cover

Now you should be looking at the back of the rectangular touch screen in the glass case

14: Carfully unplug the littie black square circuit connector from the circuit board which controls the phone's send/end buttons (look at your new phone screent to see where that connector is located)

15: Carefully remove the touch screen, speaker & wires, & send/end button board (they are all connected together by a ribbon cable) The speaker should just pry out

16: Set the touch screen components down (screen side up)

17: Remove the send/end buttons from the old screen & install them in the new screen

Now you basically reverse the process to put the phone back together with the new screen.

Notes:

A: Be mindful of which way you reconnect the keyboard slider to the screen. It only goes one way & the screw holes only line up when you are installing it correctly

B: Be sure that the volume & camera buttons are in their proper place before screwing the black back cover back on
