What does the code F:01 mean
Trying to find out what this code means in our Maytag washer:
What does this code mean: F:01
ktjackson421 the F1 fault code on this washer indicates that the water level pressure transducer signal is out of range. The pressure transducer air hose tubing being pinched or crimped can cause this. A failed pressure transducer on the machine control board can also cause it. So you will always here that it is the control board, but start off by clearing the small tube going to the pressure transducer first. Take a look on here http://www.f1error.info/repair_whirlpool... for more info
obstruction in air hose near control panel, can be crimped. the air line gets obstructed and causes a error code for pressure in water inlet, if this line is crimped it causes this code to be thrown. if this line is not crimped, look forward to a new board.
just got a maytag bravos commerical washer off the side of the road bc of the line being crimped the owner threw it out. a $1,000 washing machine …. for a crimped hose….
