Fujitsu 7160 error E2:74

Scanner has an E2:74 error. Its only 13 months old (1 month out of warranty:) Fujitsu support had me clean the glass because the error points to dirty scanner glass. That's not it and its more than that. Any easy suggestions other than shipping to Fujitsu? Parts to replace?
