Difficulty depressing brake pedal 2010 Dodge Charger SXT

I own a 2010 Dodge Charger SXT. I recently replaced my front and back brake pads and front rotors. The back rotors are in okay condition, a little texture on them but not much. On occasion I am not able to depress the brake pedal completely when I first engage the brakes. I usually quickly depresses after some vibration (in the pedal not the wheel) and some noice from the firewall area. It usually happens when I'm on an incline or decline. My fluid level is normal. All of this was occuring prior to the replacements mentioned earlier. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?

Aside from doing doughnuts in a parking lot, why does one need brakes on a Charger? :-)

Did you apply brake grease to the sliders on the caliper? If not, then your calipers won't slide back and forth as they need to. (small amount). So your pedal will be hard to push. Also, you can try this.

With the engine off, pump the brake pedal until it becomes hard, then while still holding down the brake pedal. Turn on the engine. If you feel the brake pedal release (fade away) underfoot, then you are getting good vacuum. If however they do not fade away underfoot but remain somewhat stiff. Start looking for vacuum faults or suspect master cylinder.
