My son got a Nintendo WII U for Christmas, he's trying to play a Super Mario Bros game, but it won't load because it says it doesn't have enough free space. I try to delete some software, but I can't because it says you can't delete software that is loading or being updated. Don't think I'm doing either. Any tips?

You can add a SD card with more space, it can load there. You can also delete it completely if it doesnt work and make backup before. Hope this helps!

You can also format the SD card in the Wii U to run from it completely

Increasing the memory of your Wii U will fix this. Put in an SD card or a USB stick to increase the memory, and then transfer all the new software onto it
