System is hanging during startup
When I start my MacBook Pro the Apple logo appears, then the bar start up and proceeds, then it gets stuck not completing.
Desktop or windows are not visible. How to rectify?

Try first starting up in Safe Mode by holding down the Shift key on start up. Next try holding down the Option key and selecting the repair partition on boot up. If this works, run Disk Utilities on the drive and see if it can be repaired.
