I have the Samsung Flex 4 door refrigerator, less than a year old. Last night it started beeping then flashed PC Ch. This morning it was still flashing the code so I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Now the interior lights won't come on either and it doesn't seem to be running at all.

I had the same issue with my Samsung French door refrigerator. It's a communication problem between the main control panel and the touch panel. I ordered the main control board and found out that was not the problem. I checked the wiring harness to make sure that there wasn't any breaks in the wiring. Finally I ordered the touch panel board and that solved the problem. I had delaminate the overlay from the original board to the new one by using a hair dryer on hot. By doing this it losens the adhesive without destroying the applicay. Then you just have to line it up on the new circuit board and reinstall. There are six phillips screws that hold the panel together and 5 electrical connections. Then one more phillips screw holding the panel in. To remove the panel it was a bit difficult because the foam insulation from the middle of the door seeped around a corner of the panel, but I just grabbed the ice dispenser and pulled out and down hard.
The fridge still continued to work, but I couldn't do anything with the touch panel except clear the blinking code by holding cool select and energy saver for 8 seconds.

To purchase any of these electrical parts I would recommend purchasing them online from repair clinic.com because they will allow you to return them within a year even if they have been installed that isn't the problem or under warranty. Most places won't allow you to return an electrical part after it has been installed.
Just wondering if the touch panel you ordered had electronics in it? From what I'm seeing online it almost just looks like a cover. My refrigerator takes part # DA97-17302B. And that is definitely the right part (for my refrigerator), but I'm not sure if it has any electronics involved, or if it is just a cover?

This is how I fixed the flashing error code “CH PC” on my 4 door Samsung - Remove the water container located in the door behind the water/ice dispenser, empty it and put it back in its place. The refrigerator will refill the water container and reset itself, don’t touch anything else. It will restore all the readings by itself.

Found this by googling....
Samsung Refrigerator PC CH error = To clear = Hold the Power Freeze and Vacation buttons together for 15 secs and it should reset.
Not sure if it will help.
I personally did learn something.... that I won't be buying a samsung refrigerator anytime soon though :D

But it is the refrigerator trying to say: hey somethings wrong! Resetting it may fix the warning but there will still be something wrong with the fridge. What does the error mean?
Or it’s saying, thanks for being a sucker and buying a Samsung. I’ve only had this refrigerator for two years.

Samsung support says: RF23HCEDTSR Error Codes/Messages/Blinking
All Samsung refrigerators are equipped with an onboard diagnostic system. If it detects an error/fault, it will display a specific code. Some models display a code such as 22E, however some models use the line segments from the numbers on the display, and this fault code will show instead of the temperatures.
If the unit is displaying an error or fault code, and it is not one of the situations in the following section, it will require service.
Important: Do not unplug the refrigerator. Unplugging the refrigerator will erase the diagnostic code that the technician uses to perform an accurate diagnosis, and will not resolve the issue causing the error code. The exception is error codes 88 88, 83E, 85E, or 86E. If and only if the display is showing one of these error codes, then unplug the refrigerator for 60 seconds. (The refrigerator can also be cut at the circuit breaker instead.) If the code returns, the refrigerator requires service.
Codes and Display Messages that are Commonly Misinterpreted:
Note: When all of the icons on the display are flashing after being plugged in, or after a power outage, this is normal. The fridge is running a self diagnostic when all of the icons are flashing.
OF OF or O FF: If the refrigerator is displaying OF OF or O FF, it is in Cooling Off/Demo Mode. Click here for instructions on taking the refrigerator out of Cooling Off/Demo Mode.
Flashing Temperature: If the temperature inside of the unit rises above 59°F, the display will blink and a chime will sound. The flashing display and chime sound will stop as the unit cools down. For more information, click here.
PC ER: This code indicates a communication issue between the door and the main unit. Unplug the refrigerator, and check the wire harness above the door (instructions are available in the user manual, the first couple steps under the section about removing the refrigerator doors). Disconnect and reconnect the wire harness, and restore power to the unit. If the error code returns, service is required.
Electronic Components Removed: If a component such as an ice maker or light is removed from the refrigerator, in time, this will result in an error/fault code. Unplugging the unit, re-installing the missing part(s), and then plugging the unit back in will clear the code.

You have to replace the touch screen board if it is blinking the PC CH error code. Order it from repair clinic for the warranty and you can return it if it isn't the problem most places won't do that.

That didn’t work.
My Samsung came with a home purchase, but I will never buy one outright. Known icemaker issue that they constantly come back to "fix" for free, but never actually fix. And then useless codes like this that don't do any real damage except to annoy us.

After having this code for several months, along with the beeping sound after the door was opened and closed. It finally went away along with the total control panel going out. Both the fridge and freezer are operating perfectly.
I was told by Samsung that it was ok to continue to operate, but I noticed a cooling issue, I should immediately replace?????
I love this fridge…. So wish it did not come with so many problems such as this and the ice maker issue.

I have the exact same problem. Had a power outage a month ago. Fridge came back on beeping and showing an error code. Now the display doesn't work but the fridge seems to be ok. Interior lighting works as well.
What is the model number of the refrigerator and what error code was shown?

I too will never buy another Samsung. The pc ch error just happened this evening. The ice maker quit a few months ago. It now makes a horrible noise until you open the door and then it stops. My 22 year old major chef sitting in the garage is still running. It was $500. The Samsung was $1500. Also no one in our area wants to work on them. Such a disappointment. What does the pc ch error mean? Do I need to try to get it serviced?
