Hello! Nearly a few days after replacing my iMac HDD with an SSD, after taking out SSD and putting it back i found it non-working. My first guessing was a bad LCD connector so i bought a new one, but it still didnt work. Plugging connector in the logic board nest felt bad, unlikely the same nest on the LCD, so i decided that the problem was in ligic board nest. After inspection i saw what you can see now at the picrure. What should i do with it?

@shardian you got the right connector and you can most certainly use a regular soldering iron. I stay away from hot air rework of the connectors. To solder the connector you'll use a technique called drag soldering. To prepare the board look at something like this. or the actual soldering observe the technique on here
It must only be the extreme professionals that perform boardlevel repairs on a daily basis, that have the practice to use a hot air rework station and Kapton tape for connectors.

You'll need to find someone who can replace the connector (micro soldering). This job is tricky and you need the proper tools and skills to do it. The other direction is to replace the logic board.
Keep in mind the cost of this system and how much it's going to cost to fix. Sometimes its wiser to look at getting a new system (new or used).

Yes I think that connector will do. This is not an easy replacement. I would strongly recommend you find someone who's done a few of these.

Did you notice he has a hot air station? This is the tool you'll need and have had some practice using it. Even Doctors specialize ;-}
wouldnt it be possible o use a regular soldering-iron?
