iPod ONLY GET BACKLIGHT WHEN CONECTED AFTER 6 YEARS..
when i connect my ipod to a pc or to charger i only get it to light the backlight, this light stays on all the time until i unplug the usb off. after that nothing happens.

cesar, I believe that this generation iPod requires firewire for charging. The 2nd generation iPod did not have USB support. So all your charging and syncing will have to be done via Firewire. Cables are widely available on places like this http://www.amazon.com/Retractable-Firewi... .After 6 years, I would also think that I would start with a new battery before any other fault finding.
