Needing to replace hard drive

I have a mid 2007 model iMac. The hard drive died on me and so now I am trying to replace it. I am not even close to being tech savy so I need help making sure I buy the correct replacement hard drive and anything else I might need.

@kaitydamron you will have to properly identify your iMac. Once you do that you can use the guides for your model on here iMac (Intel) for the HDD replacement procedure. Use this site for the identification.
