motherboard doesn't supply power to all parts
power doesn't go beyond power port and it doesn't light when the charger is inserted, and the battery terminals doesn't not recieve power

Use a volt meter to measure the output of the charger, there should be information on the charger to show what the output is supposed to be. You can also use another charger if available. If the output of the charger is correct then there may be a problem with the power section (some models have the power go through a daughterboard and others have the power on the motherboard.
