How do I know if the logic board will work?
I just purchased a logic board but how do I know it will work for my phone? it didnt ask how many gigs I needed and what phone carrier I have ect.

Ask for the imei and check it on iphoneimei.info

Yeah, or if they don't have it, you can put it in a frame, with all the other stuff and use the display to look. $5 says its Apple ID locked
I hope OP didn't buy just the PCB barebones without components on it.

@refectio @benjamen50 @theimedic @oldturkey03 @mayer anybody know if those "high capacity" batteries for iPhones work? It says it's 2680mah for iPhone 5 and one of the phones I bought had one inside it.
Probably not...they can pretty much print whatever they want. I doubt they somehow magically got the same form factor to suddenly drive twice the juice (the original IP5 is 1440mAH).

Never good to buy logic boards without knowing any info on them(IMEI, storage, carrier, etc)
Most thorough way to test will be to get the board in an existing chassis with parts installed. But like @imedic stated it's probably Apple locked ):
