HTC One M9 G-Sensor problem, a solution?

Hi, I have a HTC one M9, few days ago the smartphone fell to the ground and since then the G-Sensor doesn't work. I have done the calibration using HTC code( *#*#3424#*#* ) but nothing!

I think it is a hardware problem, is there a solution?

Thanks for your time!

There possibly is! Exactly the same thing happened to me and I thought it was time for a new phone. I assume you've tried to calibrate your sensors (go to 'help' - 'troubleshooting' - 'Display and buttons' - 'The display doesn't rotate automatically' - 'G-Sensor', then test and 'calibrate G-Sensor'). Apparently if you do this several times this can fix the issue, but it didn't fix mine. I then came upon the 'drop fix'. If you've dropped your phone, as I did mine, it can put the sensor out. So you use the same method to put the sensor back in again! Hold the phone about 6 inches above a thin carpet or pad of paper and drop it onto each corner in turn. Then drop it flat on its back and again on its front. Hey presto, mine started working again. Hope this helps!

Really glad to hear it, An. There's nothing worse than that sinking feeling of thinking you've broken your phone!
