Voyage Charging port will not connect
Kindle Voyage charging port will not hold the usb charger. It feels loose and does not show any connection. I have used several new charging wires with the same unsuccessful results.

@texaslb218 , Lynda Burr, If port is found to be bad/loose/damaged , this is really not a repair for the inexperienced because the charge port for your device is soldered to the mother board and the heat generated could cause further damage if not very careful. I will post a link to a tear down guide to get you inside the tablet to check the charge port and will also post a link showing what is involved in repairing a mini USB attached to the board, may not be your exact device. If kindle happens to be under warranty, try using warranty for repair/replacement/refund. If not wanting to do the repair yourself have a good computer/cell phone repair shop have a look and estimate repair. Good luck.

Repair shop recommendation? I have replaced batteries in these but soldering an SMD is beyond my comfort zone. I have the part, I lack the skill!
@thombombadil, I consider myself somewhere in the medium range of soldering skills so this is a repair I would actually tackle myself, but I completely understand if you don't feel comfortable attempting it.
Anyway, if you want a repair shop recommendation we will need to know your geographic location in order to point you in the right direction. I mean, we don't need to know your street address or anything, but country, state/province/whatever, and maybe city if you're comfortable would definitely help.
