Why does my camera keep telling me to turn it on and off again?

It will not let me take any photos or access anything, it just comes up on the LCD saying 'turn camera on and off again' what should I do?

coolcaleb20 this can be caused by a stuck lens. Take a look on here and see if those suggestions help you. Even with all of those suggestions, you may still have to replace the lens
