All the pictures describing the rubber foot do not match what i have on my early 2011 Mac book pro. My center is a solid plastic disk and the foot goes over the disk . It does not fit into the inner hole. I do not have that setup. Please help!

How about a picture of what you have. With the foot gone all you should have is a hole and a pin hole next to it.

There are also different sizes of feet with larger and smaller center circles, so you have to get the correct type of foot.
