I have a 30gb ipod with some problem but i don´t know if is a problem with the screen or with the graphic control. The screen is sometimes operative (i can use the ipod normaly) but in other times the screen shows bars crossing and is impossible to use then machine.
¿ideas?.

I would go the pass of least resistance and money. Check the connection of the ribbon cable to the circuit board, make sure it is seated properly. Also make sure that the battery does not exert any pressure on the display from the back. If that checks out I would plan on replacing the display. Luckily it is the cheaper part. If that should still not fix it I'd go with the main board. Do you have access to another ipod that you could use to test your display before replacing? Hope this helps.
