Static Fried DC-In Board?

During my routine of connecting the MagSafe connector to the MacBook, static hit the power connector on the MacBook. Immediately the battery read out in Mac OS changed to 'Not Charging' and the MagSafe LED indicator was dim green (on the newer kind, I have two) on my older one it flashes amber.

After doing some research everything seems to point to the DC-In Board. After the incident, the battery lasted another 3-4 hours (without any unusual signs, besides the 'not charging' message). Is my assumption on target? I have already ordered the parts from ifixit and awaiting their arrival.

Didn't want to go through the hassle of self-proclaimed "Geniuses" to troubleshoot this issue.

There's no way for us to tell without opening it and testing with a multimeter. Try inserting the original system installation disk and start up holding down the "D" key. Replace what it tells you is bad.

Computer is not able to power up, now that the battery is flat. It will not start even when the charger is plugged in.

I was able to borrow my friend's battery and do the AHT. The AHT found nothing wrong. I will have the multimeter tomorrow when my replacement parts arrive, what should the readings be? on the DC-In board?

When the DC in board arrives i'd change that anyway. All your symtoms point to a fried DC in. If its still acting up you can at least rule out that cause.
