I can connect the dongle and the computer acknowledges the device with a connection sound. However the remote presenter can not control the presentations. Time function works ok because that is integral to the remote. How do I re-synchronise the presenter to the dongle? Or is it another problem?

Just verifying, have you got the Logitech Cordless 2.4 GHz Presenter Connection Utility 1.0 software installed in your PC?
Here is a link where you can download it from if you haven't got it installed already.
These are the relevant instructions for the presenter from the Read Me file contained in the download.
''For connecting the presenter:
- Install the batteries into the presenter.
- Turn ON the presenter.
- Double-click on the "LogiBindP" utility.
- Press the Reset button under the device.
- When done, click OK.''

Hi, What OS is installed in your PC? Has it worked OK previously on the OS that you are using now? Logitech only has Win XP and Vista support for your device.

The OS installed is win XP. It gives all indications that it works ok but it doesn't. I suspect at some stage the dongle may have been swapped with another. I cannot tell this and if so how do I connect the two items again?
