How to replace imaging drum

there is a message on our laser jet printer that tells us "replace imaging drum" what does that mean and how do we do it.

Lee Stoddard what model is your laser jet? The imaging drum is responsible for the transfer of printer toner and image or text to the paper. Continued use of a printer imaging drum causes friction and wear on the unit which leads to it having to be replaced
