How to replace encoder strip?

My Canon PIXMA 620B laser printer is practically new.

The printer fell out of the box and it had an error code.

The problem is that when I tried to trouble shot the error message, I accidently took out the decoder strip.

I disassembled the printer but I'm having trouble placing back the decoder strip along with the print head assembly.
