Cancel function is not working

I ran a load on the Jeans cycle last night with the automatic time of 54 minutes. I paused the cycle at 26 minutes. Then I pushed Cancel and the cycle reset back to the original 54 minutes and would never clear off after pushing Cancel many times.

I left the door open so it wouldn't run and today all looked great. No lights or indicators on. I started a Touchup load on Low to test and after 2 minutes Paused and then Cancelled. It all looked good and then all of a sudden the dryer set itself for the Jeans cycle. I tried to Cancel again and it immediately set itself to the Jeans setting. It lets me change to other settings but does not cancel all together.
