TV no longer working.
I heard a loud pop, followed by a smoky odor, and then a second lesser pop, from the back of my TV, (upper right area). I have no more function. TV only 15 months old, can it be repaired and fir how much.

@montebrown from what it sounds like you blew a couple of capacitors on your power board. You will have to remove the back of your TV and take a look at the boards. With all that popping and smoking, you should see where the damaged board is. the n take lots of picture and post those with your question. Use this guide for that. You will also have to tell us what model your TV is so we can try and help you further.
