How to replace the battery

Hey there group! I bought a Logitech MX Master mouse a few months ago and use it everyday for work 10-12 hours a day. Eventually the battery died, and Logitech was great and replaced it for free.

Long story short I did not need to return the broken mouse, but I'd hate to think of it as garbage.

Any chance anyone knows of anything about is breakdown or 3rd party battery replacement options? Or if even anyone has had similar issues? I feel like I'm seeing a possible business venture if I'm not alone here....

I cannot find any tutorials regarding how to open a Logitech MX Master Mouse, but here are a couple of links which show how to open a MX 1000 and a MX Revolution mouse. Hopefully they are similar enough to your mouse to use as a guide on how to open it. They both show a battery replacement, so while the battery in your MX Master has probably a different model number (and perhaps even a different shape - who knows ?), once you have access to it you should be able to determine if you can get a replacement for it, by looking at the information printed on the battery.
