iPhone 3G是第二代iPhone。型号A1241,有8或16 GB容量,和炫酷的黑色或洁白的白色塑料背面。修复比第一款iPhone更简单。需要螺丝刀、撬撬工具和吸尘工具。

iPhone won't turn on

Recognized in itune but can't restore. The screen is always blank.

Shouldn't be problem with itune since I tried in serveral computers. Shouldn't be issue with the screen either. All come back with error 1601.

Probably hardware issue. Any suggestions on how to fix it ?

Thanks in advance

Error 1601 means the device won't come out of DFU mode into recovery mode; it's probably a bad logic board. (The screen will never light up in DFU mode.)

The logic board is the most expensive part of the phone to replace; you're probably better off selling this one for parts and buying a used (working) phone on eBay.

Apple disagrees with it not being iTunes' fault. What happened to the phone leading up to this problem? How did you rule out the screen?

Update

Error 1603: If you receive this error and the iOS device is not automatically placed into recovery mode, it may be necessary to do so manually. Refer to iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to restore for steps on placing iPhone into forced recovery mode. Also, remove the IPSW and attempt to restore again. If you do not want to remove the IPSW in the original user, try restoring in a new administrator user.
