I have an Antec Aluminum cool pad which my MacBook basically lives on and its on almost 24Hrs. a day. I know anything mechanical with moving parts requires some type of maintenance to prolong its life. Does anyone have any tips on how to keep the fans running smoothly and any tips to help extend the life of this cool pad.

Keep it blown out and plugged into a APC battery backup for smooth electrical supply.

Then plug the computer into the APC and take care of both of them ;-)

It seems like this is basically a fan. So maintenance on this would be the same as for any small electrical fan.
