Billy, first thing you want to do is to back up all your important files. It is possible that your hard drive is failing, you could check the drive in another computer. HP SMART is not the best in the world and may report this wrong, but I would not take any chances. Backup your drive install a new hard drive and replace your OS. Hope this helps, good luck.
