Lens will not retract when shut off.
Lens will not retract when shut off. I have removed batteries and reinstalled but makes no difference.

Reed Stucki, pretty common error with digital cameras. Check on here for some suggestions. This will only work half the time or less, ultimately you might need a new lens. To work on your camera, go to this page, scroll all the way down to service documents, and click on the blue links. This will download the service manual etc. for your camera.
