Why does my iPod4 shut down when unpluged?
When my ipod4 is plugged it works and shows full battery charge.as soon as I unplug it it goes black . I have to replug to power source to turn it on again.

Jim Ritchie, sounds like your battery is not holding a charge. It may charge but does not hold it. the other issue could be a PMIC error or dock connector error, but start with the battery. If it is an iPod ;-) check this guide and the part is available right here as well as many other places. Hope this helps, good luck
