The control display does not work.

Laurie, try to push the door switch button and see if the light goes off in the dryer. It is possible that this is caused by a bad door switch. You can check it for continuity with an ohm meter to make sure. Also check your thermal fuse which is located right next to the thermistor on the blower wheel housing.You can use an ohm meter to check it for continuity or take the wires off and jump it, use alligator clips or electrical tape to tape them togethe. This is for testing purpose only, DO NOT RUN your dryer that way. If none of this works, it is most likely the control panel user interface or the control board.
