Sounds like a problem with Windows such a setting or program conflicting.

You could try using a program like [link|https://computersluggish.com/downloads/easy-gamer-utility/|Easy Gamer Utility|new_window=true], myself and many users have used it and it does a pretty good job at fixing most game crashes.

Otherwise I would recommend you try reinstalling Windows!
