they look like the same connector, and same voltage, just a slight difference in mah.
But, ill say if you have never worked on one of these before it may not be worth trying to change the battery. Its a very difficult device to work on, even for an experienced technician, and you will most likely break the display/digitizer, and potentially damage some other components. The displays arent cheap either, and at that point youd be better off just buying another one, not to mention that you will lose all the water resistance it has.
