I also have had my Coolpix L810 with the lens sticking or hanging up.  I purchased a 110 volt power converter for my camera and it does good on unsticking the lens.  They are available at      https://www.amazon.com/HQRP-Converter-COOLPIX-Digital-VEB-006-EA/dp/B01MQWS0W8             copy and paste this link into your browser.  These converters will work on the L820 and l830 cameras also.
