Hi,

Check if the [https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/Products?app=warranty|manufacturer’s warranty] period on your laptop is still valid.

Depending on your location there is usually a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty on the product (including the battery).

If the warranty period is still valid (or even if your laptop is only just out of warranty by a week or so), follow the directions in the warranty as to what you have to do to make a claim for a manufacturer’s warranty repair or replacement.
