what is your current OS?
Turn off the computer.
Hold down the windows key + b and power on the laptop without letting go.
Here's the magic: while holding down windows key + b, then press F2.
The laptop will enter BIOS recovery mode, and you should be all set from there.

When you had successfully entered the UEFI / BIOS, check if your hard disk is detected,
consider running diagnostics on the HDD, also to ensure if the bios boot setting is correctly configured, e.g. secure boot, uefi.
else if it is not detected, try reseating the HDD and repeat the process.

or else get another HDD to test, if it is detected, consider getting a replacement . SSD is recommended.
