Lens cover won't open all the way

The lens cover for my camera will only partially open. The bottom side seems to be off track or stuck.  I tried sliding a piece of paper between the cover and outer ring to dislodge any debris.  I also  tried  blowing air into it from the hair dryer.  This did not work.  What else can I do to repair my camera?
