eufy RoboVac 11 Troubleshooting

The best way to combat this issue is to take a cotton swab or a facial tissue to wipe off the metal contacts on the bottom of your eufy.

Make sure that the RoboVac and the charging base are in the same room, and that the base is not on a dark-colored surface or high-pile carpet. There shouldn't be any obstacles within 1m/3ft to the right and left side and 2m/6ft from the front.

If none of the above seem to be helping, there may be a problem with the battery. The battery compartment is on the bottom of the device and will need to be opened up with a screwdriver. Check to see if the battery is connected to the wire coming from the floor of the compartment.

The answer to this problem may just be that the battery compartment may be clogged with debris. The battery compartment is on the bottom of the device and will need to be opened up with a screwdriver. To properly clean the compartment, it may be worth it to grab the pre-existing cleaning tool that is provided with the device. If the cleaning tool is not readily available, a cotton swab or a facial tissue will work equally well. Clean the chassis and the battery itself for the best results.

If all else fails you may want to replace the battery.

Just like life, sometimes fixing a problem just takes a little cleaning. To properly clean the compartment it may be worth it to grab the cleaning tool that comes with the device. If the cleaning tool is not readily available, a cotton swab or a facial tissue will work equally well. Check to see if the parts of the brush where the brush sits in the compartment are free of dirt and hair.

If the problem persists, there may be an article of trash in the compartment blocking movement. Open up the compartment guard and remove the brush. Remove any big objects that may be stuck.

It may be worth ensuring that the brush and the guard are installed correctly. When installing the wheel, you will want to verify that the right side of the roller brush is going into the hole on the side. For the guard make sure you hear a satisfying click when pressing it back in.

Over time, the fine brushes will be bent and damaged. The wipers could be broken or ripped as well. Your eufy should have come with a replacement which you can use to easily replace the old ones. Remove the guard and the old brush and replace it with a new one.

Side brushes are bent or don't spin

Hair and other debris will often get wrapped around the side brushes and hinder its movement. The easiest way to remove this clutter is to take the brush piece off of its peg, remove all the hair, and use a cotton swab to wipe away the dirt around it.

There is a small screw at the very center of each side brush. If it is loose or missing the side brushes will not spin properly. Once you have located the screw, use a screwdriver to tighten it.

Over time, the side brushes will be bent, frayed and otherwise damaged. Your eufy should have come with a few replacements which you can use to easily replace the old ones. Firmly pull up on the fibers of the brush and it should pop off. Simply snap a new brush into place and it is ready to go.

If none of the above have fixed your side brush problems, visit replacing the side brush motor.

The eufy either moves incorrectly or not at all.

These wheels are hard to really get into, so just clean them as much as you can first without breaking into the RoboVac. Use tweezers to extract the hair. Use a compressed air duster to clear out the rest of the wheel housing as much as possible.

If a basic cleaning doesn't fix it, you may need to replace the wheel itself.

If replacing the wheel doesn't work, you may need to replace the motor.

The swivel wheel can get jammed, causing unwanted resistance to movement.

This wheel is in the front of the RoboVac and can get clogged with hair. Use the pointy end of the metal spudger to pop the wheel from its housing. Remove the hair from the wheel and its housing. Clean both parts with a cotton swab to remove the dirt and dust. Simply snap the wheel back into the housing when you are done.

There could be debris beneath the housing preventing its movement. Follow the replace the swivel wheel guide to take out the swivel wheel housing. Clean the housing with a cotton swab or compressed air. Then put the housing back.

If cleaning the wheel housing does not work, you may need to replace the swivel wheel.
