- Handset Will Not Turn On
- Handset Does Not Ring
- Can't Make Or Receive Calls

Handset Will Not Turn On ¶
No matter what you do, the handset will not turn on.
Drained/Bad Battery ¶
Check to ensure that the phone battery is connected. If the battery is connected and your phone still will not turn on, leave the phone on its charger for 15-20 hours. If this does not resolve the issue, you will need to replace the battery.
Faulty AC Power Cord ¶
If the battery has been replaced, it is possible that the AC power cord needs to be replaced.
Disconnected/Damaged Screen ¶
If the keypad turns on but the screen does not, you probably have a damaged or disconnected screen. Calls can still be made, but the old screen should be replaced or reconnected.
Handset Does Not Ring ¶
When you receive calls, the handset does not ring.
Ringer Is Turned Off ¶
Make sure the the ringer is turned on in the phone's menu.
Can't Make Or Receive Calls ¶
No matter what you try, you cannot make a call.
Disconnected Telephone Cord ¶
Ensure that the telephone cord is plugged into the jack in the base.
Power To Base ¶
If the base is not plugged in, plug it in. If the base is plugged in, unplug the base, wait a few minutes and plug it back in.
Hear A Beep During Calls ¶
During a call, you hear a beeping noise.
Low Battery ¶
Check the handset for the low battery alert. If the battery is low, finish your call and return the handset to the charging base as soon as possible.
Static Noise During Calls ¶
During a call, you hear static noise.
Too Far From Base ¶
Remain closer to the base during your calls.
Move the base and handset away from any interference devices (i.e. televisions, microwave ovens, baby monitors, WiFi equipment, etc.).
Telecoil Hearing Aids ¶
If you use a telecoil hearing aid, enable the t-coil setting on the phone.
Caller ID Information Does Not Display ¶
When the phone rings, it does not display caller ID information on the screen.
Phone Does Not Ring Long Enough ¶
Allow the phone to ring 2 times before answering.
CID Is Turned Off ¶
Make sure that your caller ID service is active.
Answering System Does Not Work ¶
The answering system does not pick up the phone.
Answering System Is Turned Off ¶
Make sure the answering system is turned on.
Base Is Unplugged ¶
Make sure that the base of the answering system is plugged in.
